Ork was founded in 1995 by Count Basilium.
In 1997, the guitarist Frosthammer joined the group. In the same year to the group
joined by drummer Gravedigger, second guitarist Hellthorn and bassist Grimlord. In this line-up, in 2000, the band recorded their first full-length album, "Blessed by Evil".
